Yosemite National Park, een van de vele attracties die gesloten zijn vanwege de corona, gebruikt 1 van de dieren voor het illustreren van social distancing.
Het park in de staat Californië trekt normaal gesproken in één jaar 4,5 miljoen bezoekers. Nu het gesloten is voor publiek, is dat heel goed nieuws voor de dieren die in het park wonen. Normaal gesproken laten zij zich door de drukte niet zien, maar nu komen ze tevoorschijn en kunnen zij lekker van het park genieten.
Zo ook de angstaanjagende Lynx. Dit is het grootste katachtige dier. Een Lynx is erg op zichzelf en houdt van veel ruimte. Via twitter van het park geeft de Lynx wat adviezen voor social distancing: vermijd sociaal contact, geef je territorium aan, ga lekker in een boom schuilen, doe heel veel dutjes en laat niemand je aaien.
